Boobji was born into warmth, wealth, and long-awaited joy in the heart of downtown Srinagar. A Kashmiri Pandit by heritage, he came into a family known for prosperity and respect. His father was a well-established merchant, the owner of a flourishing gold shop in the bustling lanes of Lal Chowk, a man whose name carried weight in both business and society.

His father’s reputation and generosity ensured that teachers gave him warmth and attention. Every fortnight, gifts would reach the staff, small gestures that quietly reinforced their respect for the family.

Boobji was never forced to study. Instead, he was raised with a comforting philosophy:

As he progressed through classes, it became clear that Boobji was not lacking in intelligence, only in discipline. He had the ability, but not the drive.

Without hesitation, he agreed to the match. The wedding that followed was grand, attended by people from all communities, filled with celebration, rich food, and unforgettable joy. It became the talk of the town.

Soon after, the couple set off on an extended honeymoon, first to Kerala, then to Malaysia.
